We had a wonderful stay at this agrotouristic family-run villa. the property is surrounded by vineyards and offers a peaceful and bucolic setting. Our room had a private balcony where we enjoyed dinner, and the breakfast was amazing with fresh preserves and a wide variety of breads and proteins. Although the host wasn't fluent in English, she was welcoming and accommodating. We also had the opportunity to take a hike around the property and learn about the history of the Coa valley from our guide, who was the son of the proprietors. Cons: N/A.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming farmhouse surrounded by vineyards. The family who runs the place was so hospitable and made me feel right at home. The optional dinner was absolutely delicious, featuring local wines and produce from their organic farm. I also enjoyed exploring the olive orchard and small vineyard on the property. The breakfast buffet in the morning was wholesome and included a variety of local hams, cheeses, fruits, and eggs. The room was spacious and clean, and I appreciated the air conditioning. The pool area was a lovely spot to relax, especially in the evening when I could admire the starry sky. I highly recommend this hotel for a warm and friendly stay.

Great location for visiting nearby archaeological park, lovely and welcoming staff, delicious local food, a mix of different travellers, pretty location.

Uncomfortable beds, lack of gastronomic choices in the nearby area, poor atmosphere.

Our stay at Quinta Do Chao D'Ordem was absolutely wonderful. The property is nestled in the midst of picturesque vineyards, offering a peaceful and idyllic setting. We enjoyed taking a leisurely hike around the property and exploring the olive orchard and vineyard. Our room had a charming private balcony where we had a lovely dinner. The breakfast spread was exceptional, with a wide array of freshly made preserves, breads, and proteins. Despite the language barrier, our host was warm and accommodating, and we felt welcomed throughout our stay. We were fortunate to have a guide for our tour of the Coa Valley archaeological site, who happened to be the son of the property's owners. The proximity to the main road was unexpected, but it didn't matter as the traffic was minimal. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a delightful and hospitable stay in the area.

My purpose for visiting Quinta d'Ordem was to explore the Palaeolithic rock art at Foz Coa. The farm's location provided a perfect base for my visit, and the owners even helped me book an English tour at the museum. The property itself is a charming Portuguese country home, complete with a restored building and a fascinating antique olive press. The breakfast, filled with delicious homemade treats, was a highlight of my stay. Additionally, the quiet and peaceful surroundings, along with the friendly and accommodating owners, made for an unforgettable experience. Thank you!

    Strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a great experience at this comfortable country house. the spacious and clean rooms, along with the excellent breakfast, made our stay enjoyable. the service was outstanding, with the landlady going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the beautiful surrounding landscape and peaceful ambience were also a plus.

The lack of gastronomic choices in the nearby area was a drawback for us.

This lovely farmhouse hotel is a great base for exploring archaeological sites and hiking. The location offers a real Portuguese countryside experience, with delicious homemade breakfast options. Guests can also enjoy a large, quiet property and a refreshing pool. The optional dinner is outstanding, featuring local wines and house-produced port.

It was quite hard to find the hotel, as the directions can be misleading.

Our stay at this family-run hotel was beyond our expectations. The value for money was exceptional, with a spacious and clean room. The location was convenient and the staff treated us like old friends.

The only improvement needed would be to offer more breakfast choices, such as warm scrambled eggs and chilled yogurt.

my recent stay at a villa in Vila Nova de Foz Coa exceeded my expectations. Quinta Do Chao D'Ordem had a bucolic setting, a historic decor, and amazing breakfast. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the WiFi signal was strong. The swimming pool and surrounding vineyards added to the charm.

Seating area by the pool was missing.

Stayed at a beautiful villa in a rural location. Enjoyed a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant and had a great selection of wines. The room was clean and quiet, providing a perfect place to relax. The breakfast was excellent and the lady of the house had an English-speaking friend available for assistance. The location served as a good base for an extended stay and we even had a nice wine tasting experience at the winery next door. a great place to relax and recover.

Everything exceeded my expectations and I had everything I needed and wanted. 😊

Great experience! We felt at home in the upper apartment, with all kitchen amenities. And yet the hotel breakfast was fabulous. The highlight was the night visit with our host to the paleolitic engravings, it was magic! Above us the same sky.pure emotion.
